Oops. I did it again.

Made whoopie pies(!), that is. It was Spirit Week at school this week due to homecoming, so there were a lot of class activities and competitions; one of which was a class video. To thank all those who helped out in our class video, I made whoopie pies!!! hehehe.

Starting off with.......

Traditional whoopie pies! This comes exactly from My Sweet Vegan by Hannah Kaminsky.

Strawberry Chocolate Whoopie Pies! With strawberry buttercream! These were fun, expecially since the strawberries actually turned the frosting pink, rather than food coloring!

Mmmmint Chocolate Whoopie Pies! (yum! These were my personal favorite. they sort of reminded me of the one I got from Pattycake way back when.)

aaaand DOUBLE CHOCOLATE WHOOPIE PIES!!!! WHOOPEEE!!!!

Oh boy. Sugar coma :D

I had never heard of whoppie pies until I moved to New England and by the time I saw them I was a vegan and well, they were not! BUT now I can! Yah!

I tried the whoopie pies when Hannah came to PDX for a book signing. They were fantastic but I haven't brought myself to make them for fear of eating all of them followed by a wild sugar crash. I love your variations!
